CARD at USF

The Center for Autism & Related Disabilities at USF is a community-based project that provides information and consultation to individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders and related disabilities.

Early Steps

Florida's early intervention system that offers services to eligible infants and toddlers (birth to thirty-six months) with significant delays or a condition likely to result in a developmental delay. Early Intervention is provided to support families and caregivers in developing the competence and confidence to help their child learn and develop.

FDLRS and Child Find

Child Find is a service within the Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System (FDLRS). Child Find assists parents and schools with the early identification of children, birth through age 21, who have or are at risk of having a disability. There are six multidisciplinary teams located across the county, made up of school psychologists, school social workers, and speech/language pathologists.  Child Find is free and parents are under no obligation to enroll their child in any service.
